The Norwegian Scenic Routes are described as Norway´s most spectacular roads and Gaularfjellet Norwegian Scenic Route is no exception. By the scenic route up towards Gaularfjellet, from the same side as Sunnfjord, Flatheim makes a perfect place to stop for a few nostalgic nights or just to enjoy a very tasty cup of coffee. Flatheim is located 15 km away from Utsikten (“The viewpoint”) – a famous scenic rest stop situated at the highest point on Gaularfjellet.
